茶房 居雨/KYOでは4月11（金）から始まるShouyaGriggさん（二ノ階）、
谷口嘉さん（一ノ階）の展覧会にあわせて茶会「薄氷/Usurai」を開催いたします。

本来「薄氷」は春の訪れを象徴する季語としても使われる儚げで美しい言葉。

Shouyaさんが住む北海道のニセコにも春が訪れるこの時季に谷口さんが手掛けた薄氷のようなうつわで皆様をお迎えいたします。お二人の展覧会への想い伺える素晴らしい機会となりますので是非ご参会ださい。

At Sabo KYO, starting from Friday, April 11, we will hold the tea　gathering “Usurai” in conjunction with the exhibition of Shouya Grigg (Second Floor) and Yoshimi Taniguchi (First Floor).

“Usurai,” or “thin ice,” is a delicate and beautiful word traditionally used as a seasonal term to symbolize the arrival of spring. As spring reaches Niseko, Hokkaido, where Shouya resides, we welcome you with vessels crafted by Taniguchi that evoke the fragility of thin ice.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the thoughts and spirit behind their exhibition, and we warmly invite you to join us.
